Was really looking forward to eating here with some business associates. We have tried several Brazilian steak houses both in Houston and around the country. Sal e Brasa, being a Brazilian chain was one that we had hoped would wow us. Unfortunately, it did not live up to the expectations. On a positive note, the fact they have sushi and sashimi was very unique among Brazilian steak houses. The lobster bisque was also very good. That’s the positive. The meat choices were very limited the night we visited. The picanha cut was very disappointing. Got the medium rare slice. It looked medium rare but the taste was very dry. Difficult to chew. Got the lamb. Look like some sort of chop but it had an awful taste. Couldn’t finish it. The ribeye was the best. Had it twice. Tender and juicy. While there were chicken and sausage, didn’t see much other beef cuts. Personally very fond of grilled pineapple. The more charred the better. Surprised to see pre-sliced charred pineapple at the salad bar. Unfortunately, it did not taste like the freshly grilled version. Overall, quite disappointed versus expectations.

Late review I meant to post in Apr. This place was a wonderful surprise after being a fairly normal non-local customer at Avenida that closed last year. I could not believe the variety of steaks and other churrasco meats (+ the grilled cheese, you must try) along with the robust buffet. Sushi is top-notch. To top all of this off, served was a beautiful dessert (I forgot the name) coupled with a coffee. Many digestifs available to complete the meal. I will be back!

We had an amazing experience at Sal e Brasa Brazilian Steakhouse! From the moment we walked in, the host was warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Our server, Jayla, was outstanding she was friendly, attentive, and always made sure we had everything we needed. The food was absolutely delicious. Come hungry because you’ll want to try all the different cuts of beef, chicken, and other meats they bring to your table. The buffet was also excellent, with a great variety of fresh, clean, and flavorful options. If you’re looking for a fantastic Brazilian steakhouse experience with great service and amazing food, I highly recommend Sal e Brasa. We’ll definitely be back! The desert was a complementary for birthdays and anniversary.

Sal brass’s very fantastic! Nick is our waiter he is amazing! Definitely will return, love the salad bar and endless meat tours lol

The experience was beyond awesome!!! Madison, Alessandro, Dazling, and Rigoberto were outstanding! They made us feel welcome and made our experience totally personal. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. They're great.
